Crochet & Leaves

Yesterday I finished crocheting all the center "stars" for my Celtic Lace Afghan (or so I thought). I stopped at JoAnn's on my way to the city and intended to pick up a skein of Vanna's Choice in Burgundy, but as they were on sale I bought all they had (4 @ $2.49 vs reg $3.99). Today I was weaving in the last few Banana-colored stars and realized one was a petal short. I mounted them on my nail peg board and went upstairs to take a nap as heartburn was driving me insane - especially the constant burping! Watched a couple of Doomsday Prepper videos from the UK & Les Stroud's Off The Grid. For inspired and went outside and burned half of the leaves from the lower yard. Jerry caught his first mouse and brought it up on the porch to show me, I guess. He wouldn't quit playing with the dead thing & he had the complete fascination of Tom, so I finally had to take it away. Nitro tried humping him and he's so laid back he was allowing it! Smh... So now I'm making Red Beans & Rice with Italian Sausage and thinking I probably need to bathe & get rid of this smokey smell before my daughter gets home...
